Setting up unavailability of products using closure dates

How do I close off or block off products for certain dates?


To make your product unavailable for a specific date or date range, create a closure type Product Event under the Pricing tab of the Product Builder/Editor.

  1. Select Products > Inventory from the side menu within your account.
  2. Choose to either + New Product or edit an existing product, navigating to the Pricing tab within the Product Builder. Make sure your product has been saved!
  3. For the setting Default Calendar Status, double-check that your product is Available.
  4. Under Product Events, choose to Create New Product Event, selecting Closure Dates from the dropdown menu.
  5. Next, fill out the New Closure Dates Product Event form, specifying Applicable Days, Start and End Dates, and Categories and/or Products and then Save your product event.
  6. Finally, Preview your product calendar and note the product is NOT available during the period you specified with the Closure Event!

Once saved, you can also find your Product Event listed under Inventory > Product Events. Alternatively, you create Product Events from here and apply them later to products within the Pricing tab.
